Satan specializes in worry. He specializes in fear. He specializes in anxiety, confusion, and doubt. And he'll bring those to your mind if you allow him to do so. The devil is not a gentlemen like the Holy Spirit. If you crack the door open just a little bit, the devil will kick it wide open. And your mind is the bull's eye of Satan's target. That's why the Bible says we're not to give place to the devil (Eph. 4:27). Don't allow him to dominate your thought life!
Lord, give us one pure and holy passion. Blind us to selfish ambition. Mold within us hearts like Yours.
In Jesus' name, Amen!
There is nothing I need that Jesus is not. He is MORE than enough for ME.
Those who had a lasting impact were always led by God through a season of preparation. For Joseph, that season lasted for 13 years. For David, that season lasted for 15 years. Moses had to spend 40 years shepherding in the wilderness before he was ready to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Jesus Himself spent 30 years preparing for His three years of ministry-----the most impactful ministry in history. Don't rush through your season of preparation. Let patience have her perfect work. Choose joy. Pursue peace. Pay close attention to EVERYTHING that He is showing and teaching you. Stay focused on the Lord and on being His hands and feet in this world. And please stop worrying and stressing. You will get "there" or have "it" in HIS perfect timing.
"I would have lost heart, unless I had BELIEVED that I would see the GOODNESS of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and HE shall STRENGTHEN your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!"
Don't quit. Stay the course. Someone, somewhere is counting on YOU! Your faithful obedience to GOD and willingness to seek and follow HIM above all else will ENCOURAGE them.
"Sing praise my soul. Find STRENGTH in JOY. Let HIS words lead you on. Do NOT forget His GREAT faithfulness. He’ll finish all He's begun. TAKE COURAGE my heart. STAY STEADFAST my soul. HE'S in the waiting. HE'S in the waiting. Hold onto your hope, as your triumph unfolds. He’s NEVER failing. He’s NEVER failing." Bethel Music
